The name 3DDB originally stems from the idea to visualize databases in 3D in order to make the more approachable and easier to interact with. From there many more ideas were generated about visualizing in 2D and 3D and ti include sounds and other media. In the end, the idea of an idea collection was born and is being implemented through this page.
